The Buddhist Retreat Centre in Kuchary was established following Lama Ole’s visit in 1985. The centre occupies a restored manor and its grounds include two white stupas. Since 1987 the site has hosted annual summer meditation courses that attract participants from Lama Ole’s student community. The centre is part of the Diamond Way network founded by Lama Ole Nydahl and Hannah Nydahl and offers meditation retreats and courses in the Karma Kagyu tradition.
