BOBINSANA RETREAT
5 Days | Białowieża Forest | Magia Białego Lasu
As the days grow shorter and nature invites us to turn inward, an opportunity arises to slow down, embrace silence, and reconnect more deeply with ourselves.
You are invited to a five-day retreat dedicated to Bobinsana, an Amazonian Teacher Plant traditionally associated with opening the heart, emotional sensitivity, intuition, and inner healing.
The intention of this gathering is to deepen our connection with ourselves through a relationship with Bobinsana, nature, our bodies, and our emotions. This will be a time of partial solitude, combining shared practices and group circles with extended periods of silence, contemplation, and individual reflection.
BOBINSANA – THE PLANT OF THE HEART
In Amazonian traditions, Bobinsana is regarded as a Teacher Plant associated with gentle feminine energy. Its traditional teachings are believed to support inner transformation through love, compassion, and a deeper connection with one's feelings.
The retreat will explore the following themes:
• Opening the heart and deepening emotional awareness.
• Reconnecting with feelings and personal sensitivity.
• Developing intuition and inner guidance.
• Exploring and integrating feminine energy in both women and men.
• Returning to one's inner center and authentic self.
• Deepening one's connection with life, nature, and oneself.
Throughout the retreat, we will explore experiences and emotions that may have been held within us, make space for feelings that have long remained unexpressed, and cultivate a more vibrant and embodied connection with ourselves.
WHO IS THIS RETREAT FOR?
This retreat is an invitation for people who:
• Feel drawn to Bobinsana and wish to become familiar with this plant or deepen an existing relationship with it.
• Need a peaceful, supportive environment for inner reflection.
• Wish to reconnect with their bodies, emotions, and intuition.
• Want to approach old emotional wounds and difficult experiences with greater gentleness.
• Feel the need to move beyond constant thinking and reconnect with direct experience and feeling.
• Are seeking silence, a connection with nature, and meaningful time for themselves.
WHAT WILL THE RETREAT LOOK LIKE?
The program combines individual time in solitude with shared group practices and circles.
On the first day, we will gather to get to know one another, open the retreat space, and participate in practices designed to prepare us for working with Bobinsana. This will also be a time to settle into the location, connect with nature, and become familiar with the rhythm of the coming days.
The following days will be dedicated primarily to solitude and personal exploration. Each participant will be able to follow their own rhythm, spending time in the forest, in silence, and in contact with their body and emerging emotions.
Every day, we will also gather in a sharing circle, offering an opportunity to express personal experiences, listen to others, and receive support.
The final day will include a closing group practice to help integrate the experiences of the retreat.
THE LOCATION – MAGIA BIAŁEGO LASU
The retreat will take place in the heart of Białowieża Forest, at a peaceful retreat space called Magia Białego Lasu.
We will stay in a beautiful wooden house surrounded by birch and pine forest. A workshop yurt with a living fire will also be available, providing a warm and welcoming environment for gatherings and shared practices.
Accommodation includes:
• Three-person rooms, with individual sleeping spaces separated by curtains for additional privacy.
• Two additional sleeping spaces in an open loft area.
• Access to the surrounding forest and natural environment, ideal for quiet reflection.
A significant portion of the retreat will be dedicated to solitude. Participants will be free to walk through the forest, rest, lie down, enjoy silence, play an instrument, or simply spend time with themselves.
SILENCE AND REDUCED EXTERNAL STIMULATION
Throughout the retreat, mobile phones will be switched off and put away. Reading books and engaging with other external distractions will not be permitted.
The intention is to reduce external stimulation and create space for a deeper connection with oneself. Whenever possible, we will also maintain silence for much of the retreat.
BOBINSANA AND THE DIET
The retreat includes working with ceremonial portions of Bobinsana.
The experience will be accompanied by a simplified diet inspired by traditional Amazonian plant-diet practices. This involves limiting salt, spices, and certain foods.
This is not a complete traditional shamanic plant dieta, but rather a partial and adapted version designed for the retreat environment. Shared circles and the ongoing presence of the facilitator are intended to provide support during each participant's individual experience.
Participants will be encouraged to respect their own boundaries and decide how deeply they wish to engage in the process.
FOOD AND NOURISHMENT
Meals will be prepared by Kasia from the Z Nurtem Rzeki project.
The food will be plant-based, simple, and minimally processed, in keeping with the retreat's dietary principles and contemplative atmosphere.
YOUR FACILITATOR – JUSTYNA ZAWADZKA
Justyna Zawadzka guides people on their journey toward deeper self-connection through bodywork, awareness practices, and relationships with Teacher Plants.
For many years, she has explored traditional plant practices, particularly those originating in the Amazon. She regularly returns to the Amazonian rainforest to deepen her understanding of plant wisdom, rituals, and traditional approaches to supporting inner transformation.
Her approach is rooted in the understanding of the plant world as a living Tribe of Plants, with which humanity can develop a conscious and respectful relationship.
With 16 years of experience working with the body, touch, and consciousness, she supports people seeking greater balance, self-awareness, and access to their natural capacity for self-regulation.
She is the founder of ŁĄKA I LAS, a space dedicated to the gifts of Mother Earth, Teacher Plants, and practices supporting a return to oneself.
