GOA: REUNION
24 – 31 January 2027
Nalanda, Mandrem, North Goa, Indie, Mandrem
GOA: REUNION is a week of yoga workshops in Mandrem in North Goa, where the jungle meets the ocean. The organisers invite you to awaken your inner sense, let your body lead you, let go of the pace of everyday life and reconnect with your body, your breath, what you feel and what you truly need – a reunion with yourself. Mandrem is one of the quietest parts of North Goa, chosen by people looking for rest, closeness to nature, yoga, regeneration, vegetarian food, massages and Ayurvedic treatments.
The programme includes yoga, meditation, pranayama workshops and integrating movement with breath, as well as walks, dancing and a bonfire on the beach. It is 7 days of classes and workshops, rest and time to take in the atmosphere of India (the organisers encourage you to stay on the coast longer).
Who it is for
For people who dream of travelling to India, the cradle of yoga; who feel that the pace of daily life makes it hard to come back to themselves; who want to step away from the Western world for a while and get to know a completely different culture; who long for quality rest; or who simply love travelling. The workshops are:
for yoga beginners and for those who already practise
for those who like movement and growth, and for those who dislike pressure and are not chasing "results"
for those familiar with Ashtanga and Vinyasa, and for those still "searching"
for anyone who needs time full of breath, lightness and being well with themselves – and who wants summer in the middle of winter
Programme
Daily yoga practice: Ashtanga in a version accessible to everyone, and Vinyasa in gentler and stronger options. Also breathwork and meditations that help you connect with the body's wisdom and calm the nervous system, themed workshops (including breath, chakras and intuitive movement), time to relax and experience local culture, a beach bonfire, cacao, an outing to Ecstatic Dance and a meeting with an Ayurveda expert – the traditional Indian system of medicine and care for health, balance and well-being.
