The Art of Holding Space – Nativ International School – Weekend Seminar

A three-day residential seminar for people who lead groups or want to – about the art of "holding space" for others and for yourself. The programme draws on elements ofThe Art of Holding Spacemethod by Shachar Caspi and Arynn Dvir, and on the facilitators' background in NVC, bodywork, mindfulness and Resonant Healing. It was created with Shachar Caspi's consent and support and is an official Nativ International School event. It combines theory and practice, a personal-development group and experiential workshops, as well as support in defining your own facilitation style. The facilitators stress that those who lead others also need space for their own process, integration and learning.

Who it is for

For facilitators, people who lead workshops, circles and rituals, and anyone wishing to develop their skills in leading groups in a professional and holistic way.

Programme

• creating a safe and welcoming space for participants

• structuring a workshop according to different models, including NVC and a somatic approach

• personal and interpersonal dynamics – recognising the needs and feelings hidden beneath behaviour

• space for participants to integrate their experiences

• ceremonial space – how a ceremony differs from a workshop and a ritual

• trusting the group process

• empathy in the facilitator role, working with difficult emotions in a group, and self-regulation for the facilitator

Facilitators

Gosia DarmasandArkadiusz Padyk– have for years led workshops, courses and rituals and mentored groups and facilitators, combining empathy, psychotherapy, bodywork and mindfulness.

Practical information

• Dates: 19–21 February 2027, starting Friday at 16:00 and ending Sunday at 15:00 after lunch

• Venue: Kacze Bagno retreat centre, about 2.5 hours from Warsaw

• Accommodation in cabins with 3- and 4-person rooms and three vegetarian meals a day – included in the price

• Language: Polish
