Events: browsing, saving and submitting
Find workshops, festivals and circles, add them to your calendar, save favourites and send in an event we are missing.
Browsing events
Events lists what is still ahead. Filter by event type and practice, search by keyword at the top, or choose where: near you, a city or country, or everywhere.
The Calendar tab on the location bar shows three months at a glance. Full calendar opens a month grid where multi-day events appear on every day they run.
On an event page
You will find the dates, place, map, price, organiser and description. For events with a location in the next few days there is also a weather forecast.
The main button leads to the organiser. That is their registration page, their booking calendar on Unmeshia, or a direct way to contact them. Unmeshia sells no tickets, and the organiser answers all questions about the event. When an event is over, the page says so and points to the organiser's profile.
Adding an event to your calendar
Every upcoming event can go straight into Google Calendar, or be downloaded as a file with Download .ics. That file works with Apple, Outlook and Android calendars.
Saving events
The bookmark icon on an event card or at the top of an event page saves it. No account is needed: the list is kept in this browser only.
- Saving needs Preferences cookies. If you have not allowed them, the first tap opens Cookie settings, and the save completes as soon as you agree.
- Signed in, you will find the list under Account → Saved. There you can remove events or export the ones you choose as a single calendar file.
Submitting an event
Know of an event that is missing? There are two ways to send it:
- Without an account: Add → Event opens the Submit an event form. Give the name, description, link, dates, city and organiser. You can also add an e-mail for the editors; it is never shown publicly.
- With an account: on My profile, open the Events tab and use Add an event. You can publish under your own name or under an organisation you manage, and write the description with formatting.
Every submission starts as a draft. The editors check it, may complete missing details, and publish it. If you submitted it from your account, a notification tells you when it goes live.
