Following, notifications and newsletters

Press Follow on the profile of a person, organisation, group, place or shop. Their new events, articles and posts will appear in your Feed. Following needs an account; if you are signed out, the button takes you to sign-in first.

The people who run that profile see their follower count and are told when someone new follows. They are not given your e-mail address.

Account → Feed shows what the profiles you follow have published, newest first, together with your own content.

Notifications tells you what you would not find by browsing:

• your booking was confirmed, declined or cancelled;
• someone signed up for your session, or asked you to cancel;
• your draft was published by the editors;
• you were made an administrator of a space;
• someone started following your profile, place or shop.

Unread notifications show as a number in the account menu. They are kept for 180 days.

There are two kinds, and each needs its own subscription:

• Unmeshia's newsletter, with selected events, new places and people. Subscribe on the Newsletter page or in Settings.
• A practitioner's newsletter. Subscribe on their profile. They see only how many subscribers they have, never who you are.

Every issue has a one-click unsubscribe link that works without signing in. Settings lists all your subscriptions, each with Unsubscribe. Newsletters are never offered through pop-ups.
